Christmas (Mckenna Grace) is just a little girl, from a little town with some.. personal problems. Ever since her mother died, Christmas was always into stars, galaxy, and observing them. She believes her mother lives in the stars you see, and she watches them, talks to them every night. She sends an emit of light to the stars every night, so her mother can see her. One day, she hears about a competition which has a meaningful price for her. The winner of that competition gets a chance to record a message for the magical messsage which will be sent to the space, along with other soundtracks from all around the world, in one big archive, called Children Of The Planet Earth. She of course sees the opportunity in it. In the end, if she wins, she can have a chance to record an audio track, for her mother in the stars.  In this atmosphere, she decides to join that competition. For that competiton, she needs a birdie scout team to be assambled, and she doesn't have that much friends eith

Chemical Hearts (2020) Movie Review

Image
Starring Austin Abrams and Lili Reinhart, Chemical Hearts is not just a movie about love. Henry, our eyes and ears, is a high school senior with an ability for writing. He is the kind of person who needs to write what he feels to know what he feels. When Henry's senior year starts, he has nothing in mind but becoming the editor of school newspaper. On his interview, he meets Grace, the transfer student, also a senior, and also has a magical touch for writing. When their teacher offer the position to both of them together, Henry wants to know Grace a bit more. So, with a basic "hey" from Henry, our poetic romance begins. Henry falls for her, but she has much more in her plate than he knows. Chemical Hearts gives us a new perspective for love and loss. The movie is based on the book "Our Chemical Hearts" by Krystal Sutherland. The screenplay was written by the director himself, Richard Tanne.  With it's 93 minutes runtime, Chemical Heart is not a minute longe

Brittany Runs A Marathon (2019) Movie Review

Image
Brittany, even though she doesn't like herself, is everyone's best friend. Everyone's "girl" if you may. She doesn't really care about her weight but she also is not that comfortable living a rather unhealthy life. With all the daydrinking, partying and most of all, toxic friends, she is mostly alone in the life, against all the judgements. Her so called best friend, Gretchen, is really, hard to like. She is a lost cause in all meanings you see. Then one day, when she was crying out loud, really loud indeed, her neighbour, Catherine (Michaela Watkins) hears her, not so surprisingly, and offers a helping hand, offering her to join their running group. Brittany (Jillian Bell) of course, rejects. But in the end, she doesn't have much money to think of something else like a gym, so she decides to try running a block. Then, after her glorious victory, she makes up her mind and sets a new goal for herself, running New York City Marathon. Though, with such a tox

7500 (2019) Movie Review

Image
Released in 2019 for Germany, and in 2020 for most of the world, 7500 is a thriller set in a Berlin-Paris flight. Our leading character Tobias Ellis (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is the co-pilot of the flight which then became a subject to a terrorist attack. The terrorist group without any guns, but with knives made out of broken glass, tries to seize control of the plane on air. The terrorist group do all that to "show what it's like to lose someone" to the western world, according to their own words. They are just a bunch of brainwashed pawn in the field, trying to "revenge" the deaths in middle east. One of this terrorists, is a guy named Vedat, who is only 18 and is the only one in his group who speaks at least a bit of english. In the movie, we witness the frightening hours on this doomed flight. Throughout the movie, we can hear 4 different languages being spoken; Turkish, Arabic, German, and English. With a 93 minutes lenght, the 7500 is for sure was an inster

The F**k It List (2020) Movie Review

There's a pool in the poster, yay!                                                                                    image by Netflix 2020  Despite it's pretty bold title, considering the title itself will most likely cut the revenue, The F**ck It List offers rather a classic story. In this review, I'm gonna try to point every single pro for the movie, since I will list a lot of cons for it. Let's get right into it! The movie evolves arround our Brett Blackmore (Eli Brown). Brett is a high school student, a very succesful one as well. He's basically at the top of every academic test. In fact, he gets a 7 out of 8 acceptance letters from the Ivies, with being wait-listed for Harvard. Of course, his parents throw a party for him, and can't get enough satisfaction from bragging with Brett's amazing score. Brett on the other hand, is not that happy about the results, he's rather sad about it, because of that wait list deal for Harvard. Anyways, after his s
