Good On Paper (2021) Movie Review

Image
In reading order, images belong to Netflix, Netflix, Netflix, Netflix. We do not own any of the images and we do not claim any right on them. Okay, so in today's world, where everyone with a little bit of money, or a moderate Instagram fame can shoot a movie, there's no need to review every single thing that's out there. Simply because, well, we can't watch them all to begin with, but we also shouldn't, since cinema is something sacred and most of these turn out to be overfunded biopics with no sense of  reality, which is not something we should be promoting by writing. Good On Paper, is not that, it seemed like. First of all, just as I saw the title, I said to myself, yeah, it kinda is good on paper though. I mean, Iliza Shlesinger, pretty good comic right? And she also wrote the thing, so it will be pretty good then I say to myself. Anyways, after talking to myself on spot right then and there, I realise to watch it, see what the fuss is about. In the en

In reading order, images belong to Amazon, Netflix, Netflix, Netflix. We do not own any of the images and we do not claim any right on them.   Okay, there's no denying that I am a bit obsessed with Katie Holmes right, let's get this out there. I mean c'mon, she is the Rachel from Batman Begins. I would watch the movie just to catch up with Katie to be honest, but still, let's just get past the fanboy stuff and actually talk about her acting in this one. Starring Katie Holmes, who we all adore, and Josh Lucas, well, Josh Lucas and directed by Andy Tennant, which most of you will know for Fool's Gold (2008) or maybe from Hitch (2005) which was a way better title but also was trapped in views front. In any case, we're here to talk about his latest (Well, it's been a year but I just got a chance to watch it so, yeah) work The Secret: Dare To Dream, so let's do that, let's talk the secret.   First of all, it's really easy to see Katie Holmes

Future Of This Blog | A Mortal Update

Hello mortals, We know that this blog looks abondened at this time, and that's because it kind of was. Just like our last exam season, this exam season, the final season, was way too busy to get anything mortal done. I have no plan to stop writing anytime soon, even if it's just for myself and you guys. Cool Kids Pray, So Should You In reading order, images belong to Netflix, Netflix, Netflix. We do not own any of the images and we do not claim any right on them.  Starring Kevin Quinn and Bailee Madison, A Week Away, A Musical is a Netflix movie. A lot of a there. Anyways, A Week Away features some really decent tunes yes, but starting off, let's point out that it is a pro-christian propaganda movie at some level as well, so keep that in mind when you read our review on it. Welcome back mortals, feel lost on Netflix and wondering if this is the one for you? Perfect, we have just the review for you today. A Week Away, in a nutshell, follows Will (That's Kevin Quinn) on his mighty adventures leading him to Jesus. The musical starts off with Will stealing a cop car for some reason, some good reason we never got to know. (Or that I forgot, it's not really a movie to remember, you see) Anyways, when the cop catches him with the car he stole, I think, he gets caught and is kic

A Feel-Good Comedy, But Ditch The Comedy   "In reading order, photos belong to Netflix, Netflix, Netflix, Netflix. We do not own any of these images and we do not claim any right on them." Howdy y'all! So, Country Comfort is a Netflix comedy show, which to be honest I never heard of before getting published, which is my fault, not because the show is just a little experiment, probably... Welcome back to CineMortals, today we're talking about Country Comfort's pretty comfortable first season, so buckle up! Country Comfort, starring Katherine Mcphee, Eddie Cibrian, Ricardo Hurtado, Jamie Mann and bunch more, I must say pretty promising, young actors is a not so new look at an old, worn out cliche that is country comedy. The show is about the Haywood family, who lost their mother 2 years ago. (as pointed out over 10 times in the very first episode) So, when Bailey (Katherine Mcphee) stumbles into their lives in a storm because she was driving like a lunatic for the w
